Universal Pictures have signed up Vera Farmiga to star alongside Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds in their latest action thriller, Safe House, according to Deadline.
The actress, who has starred in a slew of successes in recent years including 'The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas', 'Orphan' and more recently 'Source Code', will play a CIA operative in the film, directed by Daniel Espinosa. In Safe House, which is currently shooting, Reynolds will play a young CIA agent tasked with guarding a dangerous criminal.
