Jubal, it's good to see you happy... it's unfortunate that there is so little left of the glaciers around the world... the warning signs are revealing themselves to us... many are not listening, many of us humans get so caught up in our own seductive small worlds, then it's a case of too little too late...
Thanks for the post...

When I am in these environments I feel the closest I can be to what I would call divine. It bears witness to me of both the complexity of life and the fragility of life.

never been to Alaska but should I ever go it would be for the glaciers. We should put the naysayers on a glacier and let them watch their disbelief in global warming become a reality.,

Beautiful, I was in my mid teens, when I was in Ak. I have several photos of me on glaciers, forget how beautiful they are. It's one of those awe inspiring nature moments that reminds how small we humans are. Thanks for the link V_W_R.

Thanks for the great photos Jubal....everything in view is made of the same things....that they are held in that miraculous form and with another miracle of sight we can take it all in should be what anyone would call a blessing...we are all on the greatest cruise ship in the Universe...one million miles each day...yes... you are a space alien...they come in all sizes..shapes..colors...and attitudes....we must learn from each other..stop fearing all that is different...and please...lower the Pirate flag...the other ships want to help...and they love our watermelons..and would like to eat them in Peace.....Golden Ruler...Will
