During Current TV’s “Politically Direct 2012″ Iowa coverage, Cenk Uygur, Al Gore, and Jennifer Granholm debate whether the tears from Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry while campaigning are real.
Jennifer Granholm says, “At the end of a campaign, your emotions are on edge, and some moment of real emotion — I think — does come out… I don’t think it’s staged.”
Gore tells the panel that he doesn’t think he’s ever cried while campaigning. “I cried for you,” Cenk admits.

Newt Gingrich, who cheated on his wife who had cancer and left her and was even quoted as saying she wasn't, "pretty enough" to be a first lady is a "sensitive" human being? LOL. Are you serious Jennifer Granholm? And wow, what cutting edge issues with all of the serious problems we have... crying on the campaign trail. Oh, but just so you know, I cried many times for you Al, but especially this country and what was lost because you couldn't serve the office you were elected to because of Republicans like Newt Gingrich and milquetoast Democrats like Jennifer Granholm and it was sincere. So truly, the "politeness" of the attitude towards these Republicans by all of your "moderators" is actually sickening.
