First, I wouldn't thank this SCOTUS for ANYTHING. The conservative activist judges on this court have made ripping democracy apart and replacing it with corporate fascism their first priority. Make no mistake, there are five Manchurian Candidates entrenched in the highest court in the land. Second, the only reason this got by Roberts was because he saw it as a tax, which Congress has the power to levee, not because it was a constitutional right or even more to the point, moral. As such he provided more fuel to the right wing-nuts who don't want to be taxed for anything,(but still want all the government programs that benefit THEM kept intact). The Roberts court decisions will affect this country for the next century, assuming it lasts long. If it does, this court will be viewed as one of the worst things to ever happen to our system of government. They deserve to be tossed into prison as traitors, not thanked.

    • My daughter died at the age of 28 because she made too much money to qualify for Medicaid and not enough money to buy affordable health insurance. She had to go to a county health department to be seen by a doctor who didn't, in my opinion after reading my daughters medical records, provide appropriate care. She paid based on her income. The doctor knew my daughter had problems, but wouldn't run any tests or send her to any specialists, because she didn't have health insurance. And doctors don't setup payment plans. They want you to pay the day you are seen. You think Obamacare will cost taxpayers money? Who do you think is paying for everyone that uses the ER like a doctors office? A hospital will bill them - not make them pay up front. Those unpaid bills are added to the cost of healthcare and passed onto you and your insurance company. I am middle class and have good health insurance thru my employer, but there is $2000 taken out of my check every year and I pay another $3000 out of pocket per year in co-pays and deductibles. Yet illegal immigrants can swim ashore and qualify for Medicaid, food stamps, and government benefits - UNTIL TODAY. Thank God Obamacare passed. Maybe someone won't have to go thru losing a child like I did.

And to all the RepubliCANTS out there (and the closet republicants in here) who think Mittens is your next President, God help you. It will be like living in an abusive relationship. He has a damn horse that cost 2 times more than most Americans make in a year. You think he cares about the 99%? Fools. He is already shooting off his mouth about how this is going to cost us jobs. This from the wanna-be Chief Outsourcer. Figure it out folks. If you have more people signing up for insurance, insurance companies are going to need more people to process paperwork and claims - thus MORE JOBS, as long as they don't get outsourced to India. He wants MORE tax breaks for the wealthiest 1 %, but nothing for what is left of the middle class or lower income homes. RepubliCANTS REALLY need to read more and quit watching FOX (as in Sly as a FOX) News. THEY LIE. You won't have healthcare, you won't have a job, you won't have a home, but MITT and all his rich friends will be laughing all the way to the bank, while you or your family members end up hungry, broke, homeless, sick, or DEAD.

    • OOOH, EVERYONE SHUT-UP and stop your Bit#&ing! If one group gets the decision in their favor the other one starts to whine. Look knock it the F off, just be honest Repubs and Dems., you all just want to Bit#5 about something and you really think everyone else wants to hear you. Well I am gonna lay a reality face-slap on you self righteous A-holes. Nobody wants to hear you anymore; do us all a favor and just hold your whinny libral this, rightwing that, bitc#ing in until it eats at your souls and destroys you from within; because the truth is the majority of Americans don't want to hear the finger pointing and lies that spew from your hypocritical, propaganda believing, false facts preaching asses anymore. God I'm tired of each side blaming the other.
Fact the Healthcare law now makes it so now yours and my tax dollars don't have to pay for those who don't have insurance when they have a medical issue. What it does do is makes the remaining 30million or so uninsured responsible for their own healthcare and their way of getting it. Meaning, if they don't get any form of health insurance they must pay into the system (be it a tax or whatever the hell it is), to cover the cost. I'm fine with this as long as my own personal money is no longer flipping the bill. This being said I also feel that if Big and small business want the workers of America to make their company a profitable one which their customers can feel comfortable turning, to the very least these companies; (large and small) can do is provide some damn health benefits. Stop pissing and moaning about how much its gonna cost. If any business owner wanted to be honest with their employee's they would let the workers know that the more services provided the more the cost is reduced and the less and less the company has to pay. So SHUT THE HELL UP ALL OF YOU! You bunch of TERDS.

    • They just haaaaad to keep the mandate in there. In a broken economy I'd love to see how they intend on one implementing this across the country, and two, enforce the "TAX" on Americans that still can't even afford health care. Are we going to start throwing them in jail to support the private prison system even further? Disgusting.

    • THE POLITICAL LEADER'S THANK YOU TOO!
What a Corporate-racket - Human food is mostly composed of petroleum products, plastic, animal by-products and treated with gases and chemicals that could kill entire populations. These are approved by the FDA and media claims them to be good for you. We send dried milk and cheese to starving, lactos-intolerant people in Africa and inject everyone with viruses in order to block viruses.

Authorities radiate people at airports or grope their private parts in order to find explosives that they can’t detect anyway. We have leaders who lie about their origins, activities and intentions. There are global leaders who were not elected by the populations they are supposed to represent, even though the media and society think they are. The entire human species is mind-controlled and programmed and fed lies about history, religion, politics & (Health.)

HAVE A NICE DAY - CORPORATIONS - THANKS FOR CARING

So, you are a benevolent alien up there seeing all this. What would YOU do?
I would fly as fast as I could to another galaxy.

    • The insurance companies thank you too. And millions are still being poisoned daily by pesticides, pollution, particulate matter, VOCs, fracking, GMOS and other pollutants and poisons in our air, water, land, food, etc. that have given us diabetes, cancer, heart disease, obesity, etc. What good is having an entire country paying for health (or actually, sick ) insurance when you allow the polluters to continue to kill us and make us sick? What a racket.

I certainly agree with you, but I'm thinking private health care recognizes that they are only prolonging the inevitable switch to government run health care. In either case, I believe the environmental causes for the large medical bills won't stay hidden long. IMHO this is good news for the environment.
