The Nissan Cube Mobile Device is not a car

leavett
The spot is designed to differentiate the Nissan Cube from other vehicles and position it as a mobile device. I limited the color palette to high tech colors to focus attention on the Cube's unique body style. With limited access to a Nissan Cube, I built a 3D model of the Cube using 3D Studio Max for the graphic demonstration scenes.

The photographs were from Nissan's promotional kit. I mixed the music with royalty-free sound effects.

I hope that you like my work.

    • This is one the best VCAMs that I've ever seen on Current (and I've been here since the Current website launched). The audio is great and on point, the graphics are amazing, the dialogue hits all the bullet points, and it is just a great concept. Absolutely professional.
It is for all those reasons that I am surprised and disapointed that this VCAM was not selected. In my opinion, it was the best VCAM that was entered. But oh well... just keep on trying...
You should enter an ad for the next VCAM.

Wow. I got this message on my Blackberry, so I'm not sure if it was in reference to my VCAM or not. If you are talking about my spot, I wish that you were judging the contest. LOL

    • Nicely done. Lots of info on the product and appealing design. Is this After Effects? The only thing I would say is during the part with the people and cargo appearing inside the car, the block people look a bit small in comparison with the vehicle. But still, very catchy spot. Nice work.

Thanks man. I appreciate the input. You are right about the scale of the people. I used Discreet products, 3D Studio Max and Discreet for production. I used Sony Sound Forge and Screenblast Acid for the sound. I REALLY appreciate the input.

Thanks again. I always appreciate input and constructive criticism and advice. It only make us better.
