There has been further excitement behind the silver screen for British filmmakers as this year’s Oscar nominations have been announced. Heath Ledger, who died exactly one year ago, has been nominated for best supporting actor. Mickey Rourke for his sympathetic turn as Randy 'The Ram' making The Wrestler much more than a standard sports film and British Director Danny Boyle has also been nominated for his recent feel good flick “Slumdog Millionaire”. British children spend more time on computer, video games than watching TV. Oh!.. and apparently rich fellas give the ladies more orgasms!
