Putting THC into pill form, marinol, is in no way cost effective and is said to be 8 times less potent than 1 joint. Why spend 10s of thousands a year on ineffective pills when you can spend about 1-2 grand a year or less and NOT have to consume it several times a day to get by with a pain-free life.

My cousin just passed away last week from Melanoma at 26yrs old. It took less than 1 1/2 years to take him. Are you telling me you have the right to tell him, a terminal cancer patient, he can't smoke marijuana, eat ecstacy, and do whatever it takes for him to live the rest of his life pain free.

If so, f*ck you. I hope you die in pain.

I bet you're the person that believes dissent is not patriotism. He is looking out for the greater good of the people, not the narrow minded mis-informed bureaucrats.

Actually... my point is that a doctor cannot effectively treat a patient with THC without knowing the amount and frequency, etc, to give. Just like any other over the counter or prescription medication. And every doctor I have heard speak about that also included that the act of smoking the plant for the THC is bad for you. It would need to be in tablet, gel-tab, etc.

I just thought the dude was a looser for knowingly doing something illegal and then running away and making it a huge problem in Canada and then crying for sympathy about it on TV. (smiles because it is kinda funny)
It could have been for anything against the law.. uh.. like shoplifting rubber bands or something and starting a movement.. etc. And making a pod to cry about it... (doh!)

Does that make sense? I just thought the behavior of bitching about facing the music when he knew he was illegal.. And it's not like he didn't queitely enjoy his weed in candada, no.no.. no!... (laughs... people constantly amaze me!)

PS I have an acute allergic reaction to the residue of weed, even after the people are gone, so it is medically dangerous to me.

Let's see what happened here... Dude did stuff he KNEW WAS ILLEGAL, ran away to Canada and did it much more...brags about his activism in making it epidemic in Canada, etc. And now Canada is giving him back to the US to bring him back to face the music ... and is now bitching on TV about it?

BTW the only way a doctor can accurately give pot as a drug is to have the THC content mesured and regulated, put it in a form (such as a tablet) so a doctor can treat a patient and be safe. Doctors agree that would be the only way to use THC--- as smoking anything like that is harmful to the body and the THC content varies from plant to plant and there are many kinds etc.

Oh... and the people you know that smoke as a hobby?.... what do they talk about... ?? um pot. What have they achieved or contributed to the world? Not much.
