    • I Went to Moscow for a week to meet a girl I had met on the internet and Gosh it was so strange I had booked the flight and hotel all on line. The problems started when I got to the Hotel which looked nothing like the photo online.
It was - 28 outside and - 10 inside my hotel room.
It was freezing eek, and the food the next morning was hard bread and cake and a coffee so strong the spoon sood upright in the cup.

I met Tatiana most evenings and we went to the ballet, but prior to going to there we went to a place she knew for some food.
There were dishes laid out on a long table and it was a case of helping yourself.

As I looked up and down the table there was nothing I knew? what is this food?

So i picked up a plate and thoght i would play safe and have a plate of what i thought was water chestnuts and which turned out to be garlic!!!!!

Tatiana said it would be very rude to take it back....so 12 or so cloves later we left for the ballet.....All i can say is the people sitting near me needed their fans
as I had some very smelly farts.

    • What an amazing piece, it totally captures what's at stake in love and life and how smart and sophisticated men can be so very vulnerable - for all the ease that technology brings to connect us, we must still rely on basics in love - trust, honesty and good personal communication!

    • Oh the drama....who would have thought that a simple computer chat could lead to such a love mess that spans four countries. All this fancy new technology like Skype and Myspace is great, but it should come with a disclaimer!

    • Oh man, Skype's a pretty awesome invention. I actually got to speak with my friend in Mexico from my phone.
