Bombing Buenos

mateohinojosa
Argentine artist Roma takes us through the streets of Buenos Aires, giving us an insight into the city's street art world. Graffiti in Buenos Aires, Roma explains, is unique because the artists are self-trained and possess a style that is all their own.

    • Mateo,
What a great start! Keep up the good work. On the same topic, Paris has some pretty amazing artists too.
      Keep in touch,

    • I very much enjoyed watching this for several reasons first the use of colour both in the graffiti and in the video overall. I also like the fact that though hip hop is US culture with a global influence and audience. Roma shows how he has embraced it and used the cultural influences of his country and its architecture to create his own style.

    • I was in Buenos Aires visiting a family friend a bit over three years ago. I would cruise around the city on the trains and I never wanted to get off because of all the graffitti on the walls. It amazed me! ME being from South American descent (vamos arriba charrua!!) and avidly involved in hip hop I was struck with the feeling that this hip hop culture really is worldwide! Graicas Roma y todos come tu!!

    • kaylastclaire,

you said it, the art speaks for itself. the Argentine style is so rad. when i show this pod to my local friends and it inspires them. there should be a dozen pods for graff in BsAs.

    • Really liked the camera angles of the graff shots, very snappy and upbeat, good pace of film. The film let the art speak for itself and it was amazing!
