    • Laura,

      We are working in several parts of the world to create a gracious circle of energy and development.

      We are working to plant Jatropha trees in developing countries and to make bio-diesel with the oil they produce. This is a virtuous circle for several reasons:

      1 - Jatropha arrest carbon from the atmosphere
      2 - Jatropha trees produce large quantities of vegetable oil
      3 - The Jatropha tree fruit is collected by people in developing countries that need jobs.
      4 - The end result is a clean burning fuel, that generates jobs in developing countries, reduces emissions and arrests carbon form the atmosphere.

      Also Jatropha thrives in poor lands, where food crops can not grow.
