this is what the other so called news stations dont want to show cause of its content. their afraid that some people will b disturbed by it.I say people shouldnt be afraid of the truth but yet they should cling to it its the only way america and americans black, white, and latino's can move foward.

Great piece and very well done. The dichotomy of feelings that Rev. Sharpton related was very thought provoking. To say the name and describe the experience of that child is sobering indeed. Thanks for your story.

hey teammemberzero!
i guess the more things change the more they stay the same.
its really cool that u [teammemberzero] decided that the fate of a handful of young white kids in college overshadows the trans-atlantic slave trade!!!
certainly railroading kids that have the money 2 pay for lawyers good enough 2 get them off is more important than having a discussion about the fact that people used 2 own other people in the u.s.
keep up the good work teammemberzero!
aaaahh latent racism!!!...... as american as apple pie & murdering the cultural heritage of others!

Negro BOY That sums Al Sharpton up in two words. When is he going to apologize to the Duke Lacrosse players?

Great piece. Glad to see such a story on Current where the actual players tell the story and not the reporters. Never forget that is the heart of Current.
I am white, but a direct descendant of a freed black slave who in turn married a native American in the late 1700s. America has always been a complex mixing of peoples and I pray that never changes.

Shocking, moving and fascinating piece. I really would have loved to hear from Strom T's family as well.
