    • I flew the F-104 from 1960 to 1964. I loved it, especially the 45,000fpm climb. During checkouts and demos, as a confidence builder we would do a fullstop landing in 2800ft. and take off doing a TRIPLE immelman off the end of the runway we just landed on. Last operations were in Italy in 2004. 1954 to 2004, quite a record. Roscoe Diehl, LAC prod. test.

    • Did the announcer just say "ladies and gentleman, boys and girls- it's watching time?" Anyway, check out some recent footage of the F-104 at an airshow.
