Its amazing to see how easily this young woman became a prostitute, and how bravely she fought to get free of the man she'd once trusted. I guess a little vulnerability goes a long way ... Lets see more support for young sex workers here in the UK! People do it for all kinds of reasons. And its a complicated issue (what's wrong with men or women making money from their physical 'assets', in the same way as they make money from their brain and experience in a traditional job, as long as its in a safe and consensual environment?) but maybe if boys and girls were brought up with more self-esteem and confidence in their own unique abilities and value then it'd be less easy to draw people into forced sex work in the first place. Or maybe we should simply exterminate the greedy people who seek to make money out of vulnerable people against their will? Rant over - answers on a postcard please...
