    • I saw this show and was exceedingly moved. (Yeah, yeah; I cried like a baby.)

      The main character (and author) so yearns for the love and approval -- and, particularly, for the recognition of his fine "man"hood -- that his [step]father was always too childish to give him.

      I was moved by the good heart and openness that the character maintains as he moves among the sometimes-muddled tough love of his Air Force mentors.
