    • Experiment with her and find out what is most pleasurable for her. Every woman is different so there is no one answer for this. You two are going to need to figure it out together. Most women don't orgasm from vaginal intercourse alone. Usually some kind of additional clitoral stimulation helps. Try manual and oral stimulation of her clitoris. Also with some women being on top helps. Experiment and communicate. And good for you for thinking of her too. You're right - the better you make it for her the more she is going to want.

    • For being about sex, this pod is boring and weird. The teacher guy is strange and... The whole situation of them, being in these weird people's house to learn about energies and their ...sex.

      is just weird.

    • Very compelling video

My wife and I practiced a lot fo the same techniques by another teacher named Margot Anand and she adds a lot of others that are most helpful in achieving the essense of the Tantric Path.

The Tantric Path is a good way to use the energy of sexuality to reach every stage all the way up to the Divine

    • funny, i just went to hear John Friend speak about tantra tonight and then randomly stumbled across this pod on air (err... on the 'on tv' tab) a few hours later. i've heard many definitions of tantra over the years, but what Friend said tonight mirrors the working definition in the wikipedia entry:

"Tantra is that Asian body of beliefs and practices which, working from the principle that the universe we experience is nothing other than the concrete manifestation of the divine energy of the Godhead that creates and maintains that universe, seeks to ritually appropriate and channel that energy, within the human microcosm, in creative and emancipatory ways".[3]"

it's the reformist yogic philosophy that all draws from one energy (in line with classical yoga philosohphy) that posits that our embodied experience, ie the knowledge gained through the senses, is a gift to be embraced for greater understanding of life and its energies, rather than to be shunned (as in classical yoga philosophy) and transcended under a dualistic view of spirit/physical realms.

    • Tantra is a cultural practice specific to a society and place and isn't about orgasm. This is a Westernization of Tantra without the irony and reflexivity of doing this strange practice in the wrong place and time and wrong people.

Also, where is my photo credit for the tangka shots?
