Inspired by the recent Ben Stiller movie, dodgeball has made a resurgence in England. At recent charity dodgeball competition, over 200 people show up in costumes ready to play.

    • I've noticed lots of similar stuff in the US - kickball leagues, organized pillow fights, etc. This seems to be largely the domain of 20-somethings who would have been in college in 2001, and thus I've developed the wildly superficial pop psychology theory that this is some kind of subconscious longing for the days of pre-9/11 innocence.
