With degrees costing more and more but becoming increasingly commonplace, is the now seemingly automatic decision to go to Uni necessarily the best career move?

    • i really liked this film, i just wanted to contribute my experience of 'uni' and offer up some other way of thinking about how to reach your goals :0
i reckon if it costs £25k to get what you want then it's worth it (but do you know it will get you what you want before paying out for it?) i like the phrase 'it's not the destination but the journey that's important' so i guess we all have to just reach for the stars and we might get to the moon haha.

    • If you don't go to college, you're taking a huge risk though. I mean, sure there's a chance you could make it big...but that doesn't seem to happen too often. More likely you'll end up working in some dead end job for the rest of your life

    • It's not necessarily about the money, I went to Uni to meet cool people, have fun, learn what it's like to stand on my own two feet and of course learn about the world around me. Admittedly, I did think when I'd graduated that it wasn't the best choice, but now I can't imagine where I'd be without it!

    • And yes, simply having a degree isn't going to get you any further than the guy without one. The trick is to actually use and apply the lessons you gained in college to a little bit of hard work and you're off to the moon!
