Tens of thousands of Palestinians have poured into the Egyptian side of the Rafah crossing through holes blown along the border wall between the Gaza Strip and Egypt .

    • one of the bigest problems GaZa has is not israel but the hamas.
the war generates more hate and brings more violence , the Palestinians in gaza are the main sufferers, they must change hamas ways of terror and violence and demand an orgenised peace seeking goverment.

    • In Gaza, we have a border with Egypt and they could let us have all the food, water, oil, and electricity we need.

Unfortunately, the bad men bring drugs, weapons, and prostitutes into Egypt and so Egypt has closed its border with Gaza.

Egypt blocks attempt to send medical supplies to Gaza: http://current.com/items/89381942/egypt_blocks_attempt_to_send_medical_supplies_...

Perhaps if we Palestinians were to stop firing missiles at Israeli civilians, and stopped trafficking in drugs, weapons, and prostitutes, and then Egypt would open its border.

In the meantime, this is an arab problem that we enlightened arabs must solve on our own, without Israel's help!

    • thanks for this awesome pod. it's a completely different point of view given by U.S. mainstream media, what little they could fit in between Britney Spears and the political horse races.

    • Its so sad that people in the states have no affordable health care, while the U.S.A gives SOOO MUCH MONEY to Israel to keep Palestine occupied under terrible justifications.....THIS IS WHERE YOUR TAX MONEY IS GOING TO U.S.A!!!!!!

I hope I live to see Palestine free.

    • i honestly was surprised that someone insinuated that all people leaving Palestine were criminals breaking out of jail...

Also, I didn't see one woman the whole video....makes me think that thier women;s rights movement might need a little kick in the ass...

    • I am very happy that this story was covered. I feel like this is a world event that American news would unjustly only brush over briefly before focusing more time on something much less important. Giving it a full examination is much deserved.

Beautifully done with personal and interesting interviews, this pod is a great success.

    • I wanted to mention that prison part as well. Isn't a bit odd that Palestine is being called the largest prison and the Jews being the ones holding the keys. This ethnic cleansing sounds familiar. Like something out of World War II. Oh thats right, the holocaust. Suddenly all those european Jews decide to head back to the holy land and claim it rightfully theirs, anyone beg do differ and its in the largest prison for you.

    • I think this POD is great. I love how you said at the end, that Gaza is considered the worlds largest prison, and this then would be the largest jail breakout. Nice coverage of the masses moving through the broken sections of the wall. You gave a good amount of information about the political situation, but not so much that it overcomes the simple importance that we are viewing through the eye of the camera. Also, the music goes well with the content, nice job.
