    • Just goes to show that pre-nups are important right?

For less serious relationships Paul Simon pretty much covered it since there must be fifty ways to leave your lover

Just slip out the back, jack
      Make a new plan, stan
You dont need to be coy, roy
      Just get yourself free
      Hop on the bus, gus
You dont need to discuss much
Just drop off the key, lee
      And get yourself free

    • Really cool pod idea! I, too, loved the opening animations. I also thought it was a great technique to stage black-and-white recreations of certain parts of the various stories. It makes the pod move along, covers your edits, and adds creativity to the story telling. The interview in the middle has the strongest character by far, and I love the surprise that she's still with her boyfriend, but it ends up being rather confusing just stuck in the middle: As the strongest part, maybe the pod would be better suited to end with it? (Or, maybe you didn't want it to be the last part because the pod is, after all, about how to break up.) Regardless, I really like the pod's unique subject matter and storytelling. Well done!

    • These are really cool stories and make me feel better about the ways I've gotten dumped...which are just really boring "just wanna be friends" lines...everyone wants to be friends.....

    • This was a great pod. I like the opening and the characters are great. It's hard to illustrate their stories and make them interesting and I think you did a great job. The music also helped to move the piece along. Good work.

    • Agh. I am so in love with that beginning animation; that was so creative and cool.
It was really interesting learning about the bad sides of relationships. We get a lot of those 'picture perfect' portrayals of over-romanticized loves, but boy does it not reflect real life sometimes. This pod was poignant and amusing!

    • Hello,
I am from argentina. That film makes us think about the wrong things that we all made any time. I want to see the next.. how to close up forever?

    • I liked this a lot Nerina. The cartooney bit at the start did look good as I think someone else said further up.
Let me know when you've got other stuff up!

    • This was amateurish in the extreme, of far too little journalistic value and lacking in polish. I hope that Current TV does not broadcast this on Valentine's or any other day. The speakers are unappealing and utterly lacking in perspective. This is simply romance mag pablum in televisual form. Go back to the drawing board and find a way to tell this story with some context and depth. Even shorts have that capability.

    • I don't think it's a knack of 'finding odd people' - I think what this sort of film illustrates is how every individual has their own quirkiness once you dig beneath the surface of everyday conforming behaviour!

      Well done

    • Splendid! Loved it, especially the animation build up. Full of great ideas, stylishly put together- visually and sound-wise. There was a really tender moment in the middle where the girl broke down, which made it seem neither 'put-on' or 'set up' in any way... Also found it quite amusing in parts

    • Intriguing insight into people's relationships! I really liked the way this was shot- the camera angles added interest to the headshots- and I liked the cartoon at the beginning.

Would love to see more of this sort of thing!

    • I LIKED that! Especially the one about reporting the guy's credit card missing and the laxatives. I'll remember that one about the credit card...

    • Great film Nerina, for me there's nothing better in a doc than people simply telling stories and letting the basic quirkiness of human nature shine through!! Would make a really good 'One Life' episode.

      Looks great too!! More!! More!!!!!!

    • Honestly, the fact that Current would choose a pod about interesting break-ups to premiere as their " 11 O'clock New" on VALENTINE'S DAY is a perfect example of why this channel is such a breath of fresh air to me. I guess it's just the little things....

      Well done.
