Just got through my Eurotrip and Berlin was by far the best city for young, vibrant people. Best clubs, best art/music scene, not to mention the cheapest world city in Europe.

Excellent report! I lived in London for a year and I struggled like mad just to make ends meet. Berlin looks lovely and I can't imagine why anyone (other then the rich) would want to try to struggle in London if they could live comfortably else where. It's depressing that world cities are becoming so increasingly expensive that they are pushing out the people who made them exciting to begin with.

Hahahaha! The worse thing - 'The Germans...', you can't say that! We English are such language retards - 'You should learn a bit of German' & 'You don't have to speak German'. Nice reporting on a growing trend though Claire.
