    • Clinging on to the image of a genocidal age is offensive to me. How can you be sensitive if you are blissfully ignorant? Cowboy to me means murdering Native Americans, a rape of nature, and belligerent men. I can see if you enjoy ranch life, but there Has Been advances since then.

    • Love stories that share a slice of life we urban animals wouldn't otherwise encounter. In a few short minutes, we got a glimpse of a multi-faceted character and came to really like him. Very well done. Congrats!

    • This was a really interesting cut from the original "Cowboy Poet."

      The story is original and intriguing and the technical work behind the scenes is really well done.

    • I found this to be a disturbing pod. Watching this cowboy "break" horses I wanted to take his spurs, climb on his back and watch him jump around while I jab him repeatedly in the sides. Spurs are not necessary when working with horses unless you just don't know any better. Instead of "breaking" them, why doesn't he "gentle" them? Works for us down here.

      First off, I love this pod, the character is one of the most cowboy cowboys I have ever met, and the piece is beautifully shot.

      As for the disturbing nature, I assure you, this Cowboy is an animal lover and there is a scene where he is talking to the horse gently. The connotations of the term "breaking horses" is a little rough, but it is really just making the horse more comfortable around people. So that they don't hurt anyone. It's like why people call in the Dog Whisperer, think of the spurs like the Caeser's little Tst! thing. And it you Dog Whispering is also cruel, then I don't know what to tell ya. :-)
