I feel like the CA and OR news spends more air time covering "snow" storms than the earthquakes. Any one remember SNOW STORM OH FOUR?
(I was not prepared for Boston snow storms. Apparently, they actually are storms)

Over here in New York shit falls down on its own, we don't need no stinking "earthquake".

Well, that explains everything. It's been that God damn unlucky guy getting in the shower all along.
Every time an earthquake hits it poses that interesting question...
Do you actually make a concerted effort to find a reinforced doorway and stand in it?
On one hand, you run the risk of looking like an "over-reactor" and getting mocked by your California native co-workers when it turns out to only be a 5.4.
On the other hand, you might be the only one left standing as you watch the mocking wrath of God crush them with the roof falling from a 6.something or higher.
I guess luck plays into comedy and survival both once in awhile.
Just don't hit your head when climbing under a table for protection because you might be the only "injuries" reported on the news like those two chicks were last week.

Wow, that reminds me...I wonder how all the tourists in Hollywood reacted, especially around Mann's Theatre. I hope they realize that chaos in the American movies dealing with natural disasters DOESN'T REALLY HAPPEN.

Tip #1, move elsewhere. It actually feels cool to ride the wave though. I was in the shitter when it happened and I just got up and ran. Didn't even wipe or anything. True story.
