Arriving at Burning Man

ThomasGreen
At Burning Man, the party starts even before you enter the gates. And as people wait in line for the gates to open at midnight on Sunday, the build-up of energy is infectious.

Chilling, I'm sure you got an answer to your question but you can learn more about what BM is all about online and at burningman.com Larry Harvey is credited with starting BM on Baker Beach in San Francisco 23 years ago. It is an art festival experiment in radical self expression and radical self reliance. It takes place in such harsh conditions now, I think, to weed out those who would choose to be spectators and not participants. BM is a participatory festival, spectators should stay home. It's about community and giving.
