An upside down rainbow was spotted recently in Cambridge, but what does it mean? Will pots o' gold be falling out of the skies? No, it's something to do with ice, light and 'science', apparently.

    • I used to see them all the time, but then I thought hanging upside down from trees was healthy.

What I'd like to know from these experts is can they make one in a lab?

    • Adoregzus you make me sick [people like you have me literally banging my head against the wall]

THE UNIVERSE WASN'T CREATED YOU FOOL. STOP USING SCIENCE TO BACK UP YOUR RIDICULES GOD THEORY. SCIENCE AND GOD ARE INCOMPATIBLE.

God botherers like you had thousands of years to come up with an explanation to life & the best you could come up with was Adam & Eve, the bible is a book of fantasy, fairytales. It's pathetic and I waste no time informing anyone who thinks otherwise. You see all god botherers are evil whether they realise it or not, turning a blind eye to the truth is pure arrogance and it costs lives. You know that's all the bloody church ever goes on about too, "saving people" - they have never saved anyone. Thanks to science we have Doctors who really can cure people. All Nazi's where evil right? why? - because they blindly followed Hitler without question and committed horrendous crimes. Well this is why I say all god botherers are evil too, because they blindly follow a religion that has no truth, provides no real answers and above all commits some of the most appalling crimes, such as Christian "Aid" blackmailing the Africans (they will not provide food to them if they use condoms - when there is a aids epidemic) And I just don't think I can take another Pedophile Priest story, I mean it's becoming something of a tradition it's self for you lot isn't it - bumming children?

In response to this disgustingness that arrived in my inbox:

"Perhaps some people believe in a God who is so incredibly creative that He used a bang to start the universe and planned every single detail with such intensity that men are just now discovering it. We have such an incredible designed universe. Science is discovering all the time that the design is there for a reason and without it, life couldn't exist (such things as the heavy elements, distance from the sun, placement in the solar system etc...). Is it such a far stretch to see great design and believe that there was one who was the designer?"

    • Wow! I love nature. This is the coolest thing I've seen in awhile. Science offers an explanation for everything which is why I don't know how people can believe in some god or higher power.

    • Neat.

I saw a triple rainbow this summer during a particularly nasty storm.

Double rainbows are pretty frequent where I'm at, but that was the first with three bands of indigo!
