Cuil didn't do it for me, tried it for about a week and found most all other search engines worked better.

I tried Cuil for a while and i didn't really like it. I guess i only search for "popular" topics.

I use Google and Cuil at the same time. Google helps me find a general overview of a topic and Cuil allows me to look deeper into it.
I think a lot of people will find Google and Cuil actually work great together.

The explore by category is very useful while researching. It will display relevant journals, etc.

I use Cuil, its pretty nice. Except it doesn't show you pictures or anything like that. But it finds things in a sentence and uses it. Pretty awesome. Oh and Google created it....but I still use Google for sure, Cuil for certain things...
