    • Calls from God tend to be collect. Having faith is one thing, but religions are just massive systems of control. Have faith, certainly, but don't let people who think a ridiculously inaccurate, contradictory, misogynistic, violent book holds all the answers tell you what to think.

    • "Those who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted." (St. Paul) If one feels the calling of the Holy Spirit, one should follow where it leads....life as a religious is a gift from God to those who are truly chosen- this is where a spiritual director is needed. Spiritual direction will help you in discernment.....Again, I quote St. Paul..."The message of the Cross is foolishness to those who are perishing- but to us who are being saved, it is The Power of God"........Courage, my young lady.....pray for courage and perseverance....

    • AMI! I've been looking to watch this piece for awhile now...I'm glad it's available here on the internet. Anyway, this chick is a very good friend of mine and in a lot of ways I feel a kinship with her...a commonality of spirit that is somewhat rare. That said, while I can't say that I knew her from her Burning Man days, I do know that she would never enter into something like this lightly or without serious thought and spiritual guidance.

To those that say that she is doing this because she's lost.. I defy you to find someone that isn't, in this day and age. She just happens to have a really good compass this time around.

While I sympathize with and applaud her search for self, I am sad to see her fall for religion. The seduction of religion is responsible for much ignorance, hatred and terrorism. She needs to kick the habit and take a stand for rationality, science and truth.

    • Religion is not a mechanism of control, faith is not something you succumb to out of fear. It's a decision you make because you are convicted in your heart to change something about your life.

I have a strong faith and it's a good thing to see someone decide to follow God. It's not a bad thing! I don't know why Christianity gets such a bad rap in the United States. You are seen as a fool if you believe in the existence of a God in this country. She has decided to love and follow God in her own way, and I wish her well!

    • Think she is trying to find herself. She reminds me of so many lost female friends that I have had over the years. One week they are lesbian. The next week they are straight. And at the end of the whole cycle they find God and become really lost.

    • Very well produced piece. I enjoyed watching this very much. I would like to see a follow-up as time progresses to see where she ends up! Great job on this video!

    • I think she really is out to find herself. This happens to be the path she feels the need to take to get there then more power to her. Hope she finds what she's looking for. Awesome piece.

    • I hope she stays sweet because the nuns in my high school were so nasty and racist, it kind of made me dislike nuns. Good luck to her.

    • It's so fascinating to see a young, urban woman going through this transformation. While it's not a path for everyone I think it shows incredible strength to go through that. Beautifully shot as well :)

    • Wow.. this is incredible. From Burning Man to a convent? There must be a pretty strong force (events in her life? Willpower?) guiding that radical change. Good luck :)
