    • It's true.... people seek news sources according to what they think or believe, but the real problem is that most TV news or newspapers are biased, so that most of what gets published gears towards one-side instead of bringing people to evaluate, challenge, analyze to make better INFORMED decisions or just get the FACTS. News should open up an intellectual conversation rather than a war of opinions. ... Love this pod :)

    • Oh yeah, and thanks Max & Jason for flagging this serious problem. My father and step-father both watch FOX News fervently. They both conceptualize reality completely different than I do. News has polarized fathers and sons, mothers and daughters alike.

    • Every television cannel presents facts in their own way.
Current presents them from the perspective of the populace.
      FOX News - Rupert Murdoch
NBC - General Electric - Vivendi
      etc...

      Thank you current!

Can you ask Brett Erlich and Al Gore if they like to watch Link TV?

    • This is something I talk about a lot. Everything that I've learned about the ethics of journalism seems to be completely ignored. I try explaining to my parents that almost every news program or newspaper they watch or read is biased. I thought journalism was about informing people on all topics. We are really closing our minds as a nation for only engaging in news that fits our lifestyles or beliefs. There shouldnt be republican or democratic newspapers, only independent ones. And although the O'Rielly Factore or Countdown with Keith Olberman is entertaining, lets not take them so seriously.
