Being a single male If your disablied like me and where waiting on ssd there is no help out there for you.
Ive been disablied for a 7 years now I got approved a little less than a year ago But if you had to see a doctor you lied or begged or what ever you had to do to be able to get the help you needed its sad when a person works there whole life pays taxes ect but the minute you get hurt they slam the doors on you. even if they see you its so limited without insurance.
even now that I have ssd I still have to wait till nov to have insurance its a 2 year wait from time they put on your paper work to get any medical help figure that out I cant your on ssd because your disabiled but you cant get medical help for 2 years thats messed up huh - 2 years ago

I am a 36 year old single mom. I live in pennsylvania. I was insured while i was pregnant but as soon as i had the baby i was dropped. Now I'm on a waiting list for state funded health insurance, A possibly 2 year waiting list. Hope i don't get sick before that. We need to address our issues of wastefulness in the systems before we will begin to see a difference in the cost of health care.

Tell me why MANDATORY health care is not fascism.
Please also explain whether state subsidized health care is socialism.
It is also important to understand how someone who is a resident of a state with a relatively large libertarian population component can also advocate what is essentially redistribution of wealth.

I am not sorry to say this, but the US, regardless how how advanced their medicine is, has a crap health care system.

Being an Aussie, perhaps you can enlighten us on the perfect health care system. Does it go with personal freedom?
Answering this should be easy for you since you Aussies rolled over and permitted firearms confiscation to the point of virtual total disarmament, while the *real* Crocodile Dundee was killed for refusing to submit. Now your kinder and gentler government is clamping down on your free speech by forbidding posting of links on blogs to sites of which they disapprove, and censoring access by choking off Internet access to sites on the "disapproved list".
