    • I've just sent an email to my local council, i went up the skatepark yesterday and it was a total mess you could hardly skate it, massive cracks, shit ramps, its ok for bmxers but not for skaters. It needs expanding and being designed by skaters and bmxers.

    • This is fantastic, and given the dearth of skating spots or any similar free-access sport facilities in London, it's a really important issue to highlight and cover with conversations with policy makers and advisors.

I tried to organise a game that required a small area of bitumen in central London that I could mark with chalk (which washed away in the next rainfall) and had to resort to illegally using an abandoned tennis court owned by a local apartment building - it's not just skaters who face this sort of problem, it's anyone who wants to use 'public' areas in an active way.

How are kids meant to work off energy and not continue to contribute to the obesity statistics if there are few options open to the majority other than grim team sports? I hope you manage to get the advisory group started, I'd help support it if so.

    • Love the film, as a skater for over 20 years I understand the problems with perception and the public. We need more indoor parks and more places in general. Keep up the good work bro
