    • Amazing ! I was born and raised in Winnipeg Manitoba, also known lovingly as Winterpeg ManiSnowba... lol. I moved to Hoquiam, Washington in 2006 and am currently planning to go home to winnipeg for a visit this june. I work at a Casino out here , came home late this morning and was looking at airfare to wpg. I turned on the tv and saw the headline "slurpee capital of the world " on current.. first thought was.. "no way ! they are not airing a segment on winnipeg and slurpees". But you guys were !!!! I missed it so I logged onto the website and watched it. Totally brought back memmories and I even recognized people in the clips. Kennewick washington is apparently vying for the slurpee title, but winnipeggers need not fear. Unfortunately for me , the slurpees out here suck (no pun intended) compared to the ones in Winnipeg. I'm craving one right now, sooo bad it hurts. Can't wait to come home and have a REAL slurpee. Swamp water is the best , creating different flavored stratum that make this horrible greenish brown color as it melts. hence the name swamp water. Thanks ever soo much for airing it. : D
