    • This is a giant corporate give away that is attacking women's rights and imposes fines on people who are not able to afford insurance or qualify for Medi! I am a Democrat who is a home health care worker and I can not believe the rush of our officials to force many Americans into a broken for-profit "healthcare" system... We can't mandate millions of new customers for the Insurance Monster without restructuring the way they are able to do business. The pre-existing conditions clause is a start but doesn't justify us all buying a bad product. Why not make it a Federal Crime to kill people for money? I thought that was illegal ANYWAY!
      A human being's health shouldn't be a bonus for an executive or a bribe from a Lobbyist to our "Representatives."

    • Well stated Mr. Obama
      As a nurse I find that there are still so many people out there who are uninsured and are unable to afford medical treatments for mainstream illness such as a common cold or bronchitis. I think healthcare reform well benefit everyone, and even those who are not the most fortunate. Most citizens that make low incomes tend to be the ones who have poorer health. We should reform healthcare to let everyone be able to afford.

    • Go to any shopping mall in america and take a look!! >80% of all "diseases" treated by the american health care system are lifestyle related...if people ate a plant based diet, exercised, din't smoke or abuse drugs and got a good nights sleep....there would be a lot of "doctors" out work and drug companies with pills they could not sell......REFORM IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!!

      (there is too much money to be made in the business of pain, suffering and sickness)
