Phillip,1st. I cannot sue anyone because South Bend, Indiana doesn't protect gay rights! Believe me I've tried! 2nd. Do not tell me how I feel inside; I was born gay. I've tried to change genuinely! 3 you’re saying I’m judging you, well what are you doing to me? You’re telling me I choose to be gay just because there’s no proof in your eyes or mind!
This is my body and my mind and I know for a fact that I, do not choose to be gay! I’m not attracted to women. I’m attracted to men! I have no love life at all…. I can not find true love because of hate; gay men hide and marry women just to keep their jobs or to hide from their families!

I’m suffering and especially after what I’ve been through; I certainly wouldn’t continue to be gay, if I could change it!

I will apologize if I hurt your feelings. I am very bitter right now, but I’m working through it. Again I’ve been through hell and I just have to except that my perpetrators will never be brought to justice!

God created gay people, because he knew they wouldn’t over-populate the world; for there would be many men to only love, but never breed.

In the ongoing search for the "gay gene," geneticists believe they've found something related. They found a gene which is only present in gay men and very fertile women. The study found that the mothers and sisters of gay men have more children than the women in families with straight men.

The team of geneticists hypothesize that these genes may cause males and females to be extremely attracted to men, which in turn, leads men to pursue other men, while causing women to have more sexual partners, and become pregnant slightly more often than an average woman.

Before discussing any topic, one should always attempt to understand the source or root of the topic. It is from this perspective that I comment on your concept that Same Sex marriage is the wrong.

1: What is the purpose to society for granting any privileges to any group through the concept of marriage?

a: Marriage has one and only one social purpose: To provide the most successful environment in which to develop the next generation of members of the society.
It is from this perspective only that the debate can be held without incurring ridiculous straw man arguments from both sides. Since only heterosexual couples can produce children, only heterosexual couples can benefit society as a whole, by procreating and thereby producing the next generation.

2: What discrimination is alleged?
a: Gay rights activists, claim that they are discriminated against. The flaw in this argument is this: I as a man am unable to marry a man, a woman is unable to marry a woman, this restriction does not specify gay or straight persons, only that marriage is limited to a union that can produce offspring. Therefore to grant same sex marriage to homosexuals is to discriminate against straight persons.

3: The use of the public airways to promote a life style is not wrong.
a: Here I cannot disagree more strongly. By the same right that the Christian right wing, Catholic, Islamic, Wiccan and any other group is able to promote its beliefs, Gay rights activists have a firm ground for public use of the airwaves. The first amendment guarantees this right to all.
b: By the same token, the forcing of others to digest ones diatribe, that is not proper, legal or protected, Therefore, gay pride activities that pre-empt other shows are improper, much as straight pride activities would be.
4: You can't help whom you fall in love with.
a: Everyone controls whom they fall in love with, this is a farce from the first utterance. Love and lust are vastly different concepts.
5: I was born this way.
a: I scarcely even waste my time commenting on this one, but… Science has proven that sexual orientation is not a predestine, but a matter of choice, experience and culture.
b: Sex for the purpose of gratification is far inferior to sex for its intended purpose, procreation.
Now that we have dispelled most of the modern myths of human sexuality, why not tax homosexuality out of existence, like smoking, drinking or any other risky behavior. All of the studies conducted in countries that allow same sex marriage have concluded that same sex marriages are not monogamous, do not last, contain sexually risky behaviors both physically and emotionally. Therefore if cigarette smoking is cause to raise rates on straight people, then raise the insurance costs of homosexuals, if taxes on such luxuries are fair game, do the same for gays.

Lesbian, Bisexual, Gay & Transgendered (LGBT) people are just that, people!
Innocent people who continue to be mistreated, misunderstood and abused by bigots and haters!
It's like I've always said; if aliens were to come to earth with a cure for all things bad disease, famine etc, people who hate what is different would kill them and cause mass destruction! Ignorance lives on and evil and bigoted hatred rule our once free but now governed by hate and bigotry-country 'America!'

Again this is what I'm fighting in my State and city South Bend Indiana 'Discrimination'! This is why I'm so personally upset to know this kind of thing is being governed in California in a country such as America! Living the way I have to live; without even the right to work, or to be protected from a hate crime! Simply because I'm gay! Let alone the right to marry- is just horrible! As long as the US Supreme Court allows this kind of bigotry even in California, I will never see justice in South Bend, Indiana!
Here my story:

I was beaten and left for dead in Indiana and the police did nothing, because it was a hate crime. I was also harassed at work, and this resulted in the loss of my job. I believe all this happened to me because of my sexual orientation. Due to these events, I have insurmountable bills left unpaid, and have lost everything I own. Indiana has an ordinance against LGBT rights; an employer can fire an employee if the employer knows or suspects the employee is LGBT! I have been turned down for assistance at every turn. I've also been diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and major depression due to the harassment and living under Indiana’s ordinance.
As I live under this unjust consequence of being gay in Indiana, I wonder how my ex is relishing in the knowledge of my anguish. I remember his cruel words, “Your books are going no where!” “What do you want me to do, take you back out of pity?” "I celebrate every May when I do not hear from you!” There is no doubt that I suffer from the knowledge that Indiana’s ordinance means my perpetrators will never be facing any consequences for their crimes against me; the harassment, the bashing, the violation of my civil rights! My ex is laughing and drinking his champagne! I, on the other hand, continue to suffer in this unjust place he left me in, by letting his father steal my 1989 Grand Prix LE, by also throwing me out of our house, and stealing all my fish tanks and cockatiels.
I must state here that, as much as all this hurts, I still love my ex more than I hate him! I know, I’m pretty dumb! I can’t help it, all I've ever wanted; was to be a housewife and to be loved... I’m just that way. Consequently, I’ll be sad and single for the rest of my life………….

From where I'm seeing and standing; China and Rusa are free'er countries, thanks to the on going life dictating bigots of America! Moreover, LGBT people are not an illegal drug!

I'm sad that gay rights specifically, marriage rights are denied; how can a group of so called "Christian people," be so callas and cruel as to keep people from having the right to love and to be secure in that love? Per viewing the news I watched 400,000 of these so called "Christian people," waiting to vote for hate, the sight of that filled me with fear, dread and deep sadness! And to see, "Christian people," cower behind Gods faith to hurt others! It saddens and hurts me deeply! To me, "GOD IS LOVE NOT HATE!"

As an only child of divorced parents I am so alone and yes I too need to be loved and to have the right to be loved! I must state that, "Being gay and living in such times as these, while being stuck in such a horrible and prejudiced state and city such as South Bend, Indiana is horrible and certainly contributes to my suffering. And to see California having these kind of problems is horrible!

I have to add that just knowing I will never be able to walk down the isle and say, "I do." Just kills me! As I am with every fiber of my being; a loving and very romantic soul! I just don't know how I can wake up everyday and get out of bed. For I know as long as there is a gay marriage ban, gay men will hide from who they are, therefore I may never find or have true love. Innocent women will be wed to gay men and live out a lie, which will cause unnecessary pain etc! This stands to question, "Do these 'Christian people' care?"

No, they do not! Not as long as they can dictate everyone's life at what ever cost of suffering lies in their wake. "Christian people," who abuse religion while taking our freedoms away and keeping us out of the church and stealing Gods love and faith from us all! It just makes me so sad. . . Where are the good people of faith? I know you must be out there somewhere!
