    • I truly never believed there was anyone out there who has gone through the same things I do. I have trained in BJJ, judo, and thai boxing for about eight years...against everything I had been told I loved it and excelled in the art. I had the exact same surgery ten years ago and spent a year after in a wheel chair. I never thought I would be where I am now....I now do personal training, stunt work, and sub teach bjj and thai boxing.
This story inspired and touched my soul.
I would like to learn more about Greg and his story...If anyone has more information please let me know.

    • X-ray technician/cage fighter? He is definitely handy even for injured fighters now-a-days since MMA is going towards mainstream. Good pod though...

    • I have an 8 yr old son who undewent surgery for
ulcerative colitis at age two and has been living
with the after effects of j-pouch surgery ever since.
It was cool to see Greg's spot on current t.v. as it is
so rare to hear about u.c. in any venue other than
web groups that are built around the disease .
So I just wanted to say thanks to Greg for telling his
story. all over the country there are kids who are stuck
in theyre own private struggles with u.c. and and it helps to hear that they are not the only ones who
have to figure out a way to beat this problem and move forward in life .

Sorry to hear about your son, that must be really tough at his age. Although he will be a stronger person for it. Im sure he gets frustrated and stressed out at times trying to do normal things, like hang out with friends and not be close to home. Make sure you let him vent that stuff with you. Any questions, my email is nocolong@yahoo.com.
