My Boyfriend is a Bus

Whilst most of us would admit to 'loving' our cars and 'not being able to live without' our Mac laptop, but for Objectum Sexuals that doesn't begin to cover it. People with OS are in love and or having sex with inanimate objects such as fences, amusement park rides and even historic landmarks. Stuart Kershaw meets up with some OS Brits and their 'partners' to try to get inside the mindset of Objectum Sexuality.

    • i dont understand how someone could love an object for the reason that you cant love something that doesnt feel or think. having said that i think if someone is OS then fine, you only get one life and if making out with a building (or whatever it is you do) makes you happy then go for it

    • @mbsq, I understand your skepticism of the Church of Scientology and even OS... but I will have you know that Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is no fallacy, and that it is very real. My little brother has OCD and it is no easy task living with it. It is nothing like some cult or a strange branch of sexuality. It is a legitimate mental disorder and a very serious one.

That's what I'm saying-- the belief that a building is a sentient being should be thought of as a mental disorder like OCD. The way this documentary talks about it is similar to saying OCD is just an "alternative lifestyle" just as "valid" as any other.

Okay, it's just when you said it deserves as much respect as OCD... I thought you were saying something else. You see, while one can learn to overcome some of their compulsions, if you have OCD you can't get rid of it... Sorry for assuming the worst though.
And as to OS needing to be treated like a mental disorder it probably should be, but then when I say that I feel a little closed-minded b/c I wouldn't know the circumstances of those who identify as OS... I mean, not long ago homosexuality was classified as a mental disorder... and is still considered to be by some people unfortunately. Perhaps, OS is legit... I'm not really sure.

    • Gotta respect these ladies for their confidence and free spirit and for being brave enough to share their lifestyle. At least they're able to articulate their feelings and are aware of what society thinks. But it behooves some people to know that they are simply flat out abnormal.

    • so very interesting, i had know idea this form of sexuality exists. I think we all should respect them as much as any other, but it would be interesting to find out that if any of the women in this documentary has had a negative past with human relationships?

OMG, don't know if is a real emotion to an object or just a mental disorder. Then to have them compare it to Homosexuals, whew, some people as just plain delusional disorder. Especially the jealousy part, ........baffling, strange and kinda disconcerning.
