Vigilante Britain

woolfcub
Vigilante Britain is a hard-hitting documentary that gets up close and personal with the UK's deadliest hard line vigilante gang, the Merstham Justice Squad in Surrey. For the first time on camera, they peel off their regulation balaclavas, revealing their identities and exposing the gory details of their 'army style' interrogations and their own brand of lethal justice.

    • Thugs literally get away with murder because they "didn't intend to kill the victim". Manslaughter carries a more lenient sentence. Let's change the law. Highly publicise that kicking someone in the head or shooting or stabbing them in the chest etc will probably kill them. So when the act is committed there was "malice aforethought" even for 1 second, so it invokes an automatic 30 years. If the victim doesn't die it would still be attempted murder with an automatic 15 years for the perp. This would also apply to his accomplices unless they report the perp to the police immediately.

    • The police in the uk hardly care if u live in a working class area it's become part of life that u must protect your home or family 'with the law protecting criminals more than the victims an releasing criminals early or sometimes not even prosecuting them 'then i can fully understand why people take the law into there own hands ' i would rather trust a vigilante group to deal with it then the police when criminals who make others lifes a misery no full well how to avoid being jailed or knowing they will not be jailed 'but if they hade to live in fear themselfs they would think twice before committing crimes apon good honest people .

    • I'm in NHW and have given info to the police also gleaned when I was a housing officer. But when the culprit is arrested then released without charge, it's obvious that he gave the name of a "bigger fish".
I also was told a drug dealer in Chatham is the local drug dealer. But the police turn a blind eye because he's a Supergrass. In a recent witness intimidation incident, he was watching when his employee made an attack. The employee has been found guilty - I'm waiting to see if he even goes to court. The shopkeeper victim has now had to move.
I rang the police at 2am one morning to report vandals damaging every car they walked past. I rang 999 and told them the vandals direction and road. 45 mins later a police van drove past at 10 mph. The culprits were no doubt tucked up in bed by then.

    • I'd rather watch a documentary that asks why the fear of crime is so high even though crime is actually falling, rather than something like this which just helps sell Daily Mails.

    • i think self defence is acceptible, but the gang in part two are just as bad as the scum that start the violence. but i really do think the police really need to step up.

    • If someone breaks in my house or attempts to attack me on the street and i have a weapon, I will go for the kill shot. It's crazy to put people in jail for self-defense. Maybe that's why there are more elderly people and women currently incarcerated; maybe they're there for defending themselves.

    • Putting people behind bars because they beat the crap out of someone who tried to rob them is absolutely absurd!!! If the number of murderers, rapists, and thieves grows exponentially but the number of cops declines steadily then vigilantes numbers will rise across the world, not just Britain. If the law can't stop the criminals then they won't be able to contain the vigilantes either.
