Three things are certain about base jumping. You will break your bones. You will watch your friends die. And - if you do it long enough - it will eventually kill you. In this heady, testosterone-packed environment, adrenaline junkie Karina Hollekim is regarded as one of the best of the best. We follow Karina for several years as she hurls herself off increasingly treacherous cliffs in search of the ultimate high. What compels someone to risk their life on a regular basis in this way? Is base jumping a way of 'living life to the full' or simply running away from your demons? And - when tragedy strikes - will the rush have proved worth the price?

    • This film really grabbed me. The depth, the scenery, the perspectives and the silence in parts brought through just what a focused woman Katrina must be.

      I almost got a tangible feeling that I knew her. Think I must have watched this film over about 10 times since I first caught it about 4 months ago. Easily one of the best films I've seen on Current. There must have been some incredible background work filming and interviewing for this. Brilliant piece of work.
