MIO: The Most Advanced Bus System in the World

Cali used to be known as the home of the infamous Colombia drug cartels. Today it's better known for having one of the most advanced bus systems in the world. It's called the Mio. The MIO buses have their own separate lanes, wide doors that open at boarding level and a control room nerve center that monitors and manages the entire system. Some call it a surface subway.
