The iPhone's long-awaited OS 3.0 upgrade that brings cut, copy & paste as well as regular picture messaging to the nifty-magic-Apple-box is expected to go live today between 5pm and 7pm BST.
Full features (from http://www.apple.com/iphone/softwareupdate/):
- cut, copy & paste
- landscape keyboard for mail, Safari etc
- MMS (finally! it's only been on most phones since the 90s after all...)
- Spotlight search (search across your entire phone from one place)
- voice memos (basically pointless, right?)
- improved calendar
- internet tethering (use your iphone's internet connection to get your laptop online)
- some rubbish updates (who honestly cares about the stocks app being enhanced or new parental controls?)
The two best ones for me are blatantly copy & paste and MMS. What about you?
