    • The VP position as an attack dog hearkens back to the days when Nixon did that for Eisenhower, but it really only was used recently in the current administration.

      The idealist me would rather see it be more of an advisory position, but I can't overlook the utility of the attacker.

      I like Biden...always have. There are other good choices out there as well. And while there is a lot to like about Clinton, I think she draws too much fire. There are just too many people on the right who would be activated by the chance to vote against Hillary Clinton even if it's just as VP. Too much baggage.
