    • Bush and his cronies are a bunch of fascist and corrupt warcriminals. They might be able to get themselves immunity from prosecution, but they can't run away from karma.

    • The 2000 election WAS a coup d'etat-votes were stolen and the Bush daddy selected supreme court selected Bush Jr.for President. John Roberts (current head of the Supreme court) was one of the 'outraged activists' banging on the door and demanding the vote counting stop! They were all Repubilcan operatives performing a carefully choreographed strategy.

When it happens this time, will we protest?

    • i feel so powerless with this administration. I feel like nothing is worth trying to change, the only thing that is certain is time....and that time may just lead to waiting for mccain to get out of office or die.

oooh the audacity of hope. hint hint

I don't care what legislation it was attached to, you need to stop the sucking.

    • Not that I am making a personal threat or anything, but there are people out there who may decide to take matters of justice into their own hands should he attempt to exonerate himself and his buddies. Not only that, but shouldn't the proposition of this bill confirm his guilt as a war criminal?

If he's believes he's done nothing wrong, why would he need to take such a precaution?

    • What is next a coup d’état ?

Dennis Kucinich has stood up against the Bush administration and called on Pelosi to hold hearings and to impeach Bush all to no avail.

If this "pardon" for Bush et al passes the House is it because Pelosi and those up for re-election are too cowardly to stand up to Bush? The democrats better hang tough or what in the hell will this administration pull next?

Weeks ago I wrote that Bush intends to extend his Presidency. I was being slightly sarcastic but now one wonders what else is hidden in the legislation? Do we really think we are immune to a coup d’état?

      Wake up America wake up.

You should look at the Military Commision act of '06 and '07 and see that they can enforce martial law in the state of emergency utilizing private contractors (ie. Black water) and they have 800 FEMA prisons around the USA they are waiting to fill. Get ready for the facist state. Get your gun license and kevlar cause they will come for us all!!

    • Bush & Co attempt immunity for war crimes, however Saddam Hussein (ugly mustachio as it may be) gets hanged? To the victor go the spoils.

    • Robert F Kennedy Jr says to look for a major article in Rolling Stone on September 12 on Election Fraud by the right wing. There are 50 different ways of defrauding the process and millions of votes will be stolen.

He says he sat next to John Dean who said "we wire tapped one office and I went to jail for 4 months and an impeachment process was begun that ended in the President's resignation. This administration has wiretapped hundreds of thousands of people and no one is accountable- Where is the outrage, where is the press?"

    • "I really do wonder, sometimes, what we are becoming in this country."

We are becoming a Neo-Fascist state.

If CNN, and MSNBC, and all the other news channels don't realize it, and start uprooting real news and countering conservative lies and spin while dispelling FOX propaganda, it is inevitable.

I am no longer mad as hell and am no longer not going to take it anymore, I'm just plain scared.

    • They think they can escape prosecution? I for one will not let them off the hook. They will be held accountable and justice will be served. Their day will come and this bullshit is just pushing back the date.

    • What is the original date of this video? The reason I ask is,in the video they mention Frist and Hastrert and these guys aren't in charge any more. If it's not too late we need to start a campaign to make our rep's aware that this cannot be allowed to happen. If it has already happened we need to find a way to reverse this. This cannot be allowed to stand! If it IS allowed to stand we will not be able to hold ANY ADMINISTRATION accountable,Democrat or repuglican.

    • Wow is that real? Cnn is actually doing a real report. All I can say is that I hope that this bill doesn't pass in the senate and that the next administration tries the Bush administration with war crimes.

    • The fact that this provision has been included in a bill is, in and of itself, an admission of guilt by an administration and a party of war criminals.

      This is truly repugnant.
