Just the Facts, Ma'am

JoKnows
While the media and the internet have done their very best to coat Sarah Palin with slime, there is at least one place that has done some fact checking - and the biggest surprise of all is that this site is actually Newsweek!! Hoodathunkit??

I want to thank them for taking the time to actually do some research, it's a novel idea for journalists nowadays...

    • Um, did you look at that chart? The facts you refer to actually paint Palin with slime enough.

      Especially #5: Energentically Wrong.
      Very true.

And #3 GOP trying to suppress voting.
      No surprise there.

Just like Bill O'Reilly - he claims people are smearing him, when all they do is replay clips from his own show. McCain-Palin-Bush are the same - the media is smearing us, but all they're doing is fact checking.

      Time for change. Go Obama!

    • That is NOTHING compared to all of the half truths McCain has spread and has continued to spread about the Obama campaign.

The difference? You all freak about what bloggers say about your candidate. Your CANDIDATE flat out lies and distorts what Obama says.

What about when McCain distorted Obama's campaign to teach kindergarteners about sexual predators. Obama wanted to protect the young, McCain tried to make it look like he was perverting them. LIES

McCain claims to have always voted to support troop funding? LIE. He has voted No more than 10 times on issues like health care and body armor. BTW that's not from a fact checker media site. thats from the US senate records.

He's upsetting lobbyists because he is for campaign finance reform?? Then why is his campaign made up of at least 159 lobbyists and has been given ~ 10 mill in campaign donations. seems not only like a lie but a freakin hypocrite.

      it goes on.

You're candidate has been playing dirty since the race began. He has thrown out ridiculous statements "you want a movie star in office?" only to turn around and hire an uneducated puppet of a beauty queen as his VP JUST to get the media attention. You have pointed your finger at Obama's resume and yet you hire someone with less experience and less political education than he... AND NO BEING A MAYOR OF A FISHING TOWN DOES NOT COUNT... whether or not you can see Russia from it.

I'm embarrassed by my country to say it's gotten their attention for now. But when it comes down to the line... I have SOME faith that they'll realize she has NO IDEA what she is talking about.

It's not just experience. You can learn on your toes, i'll give you that. But this woman has not proven that to me. She floundered in the one interview the have ALLOWED her. They dont want her talking because you'll see her trip. She is not going to know what to do in-house and I don't want another puppet in office. Period.

    • Wow although an older article I think #8 is pretty darn clear on how dick and george think they can do whatever the hell they want.
God I hope somebody brings those guys down, puts them in jail for a very long time.

    • They won't even recognise the series of interviews with Obama that Bill O'Reilly is doing currently - not one word! (I can't wait for tonight when he has to explain the nefarious people he's associated with!)
I used to work for a newspaper and I'd have been fired for not checking my facts before going to print.

    • Yeah journalistic research is at a premium these days.

My jaw dropped when I realised that Newsweek posted these articles. Any chance that Huffington Post will pick up any of their pointers?
