Ohio Crowd Goes Wild

JuliusBC
What A Powerful Leader, This Is What America And The World Needs Now. When you listen to Obama versus McCain as they speak, there is such a huge difference in their capacity to express what is needed and to motivate people. Obama is eloquent, straight forward and substantive with what he has to say. McCain on the other hand is none of these. He essentially spews out one liners, makes a big bushish grin and waits for his crowd to cheer. There is no substance and no direction. It seems as if most if not all of his leadership skills have become impoverished. This is not what America needs in this time of crisis.

The economy is not the only crisis we face. The world is currently facing another crisis. It is a crisis of having very little or no diplomacy. This is extremely dangerous as there are many conflicts around the world nearing the boiling point. This is why this is the most vital election in America's history. There are so many things that hang in the balance. The significance goes much deeper than some of the personal issues that so many quibble over. It is not about whether you are a republican or a democrat. Right now the entire world is holding their breath as to the outcome of what we do in this election. There is an extreme build up of energy and tension that is soon to be set free on a global scale. The direction this energy will take us (the human race) is why this election is so important. So many things are intertwined across the globe in such a way that we are no longer impacting only our selves with our choices.

We have two choices in candidates to pick from. They both have distinct differences in their perceptions, desires, and focus of purpose. McCain is of the nature to war first and use diplomacy second; just look at his and Sarah Palin’s response to the attack on Georgia. If we would have attacked Russia as they had implied that we should, Palin would have seen missiles rather than Putin’s head launched over her 40 mile stretch of Bering Strait into Alaska. War mongering is not the mentality we want to continue to spew into the world as a nation.

Diplomacy is extremely vital at this point in the journey of humankind as world tensions are mounting. Barack Obama is of the nature to use diplomacy first and then use military force as a last resort. This is not a weakness as some would like to imply. Look back at President Kennedy’s response to the Cuban missile crisis. If McCain and Palin would have been in power at that time, just imagine how different the world would be now! Please note that Obama will not hesitate to use military force if the situation is warranted.

The rest of the world recognizes these distinct differences between Obama and McCain. It is time for more Americans to see this difference as well. There are an increasing number of staunch republican politicians voicing their support for Barack Obama such as Colin Powell, Scott McClellan, and Chris Buckley. They are realizing that this country needs a change and it is not the one that McCain and Palin will bring. They will bring a change but let’s not go there. Vote Barack Obama and Joe Biden into office and the bulk of the world community will get behind us in making the world a safer, greener, and more stable place. Our economy and the rest of the world economies will once again become stable as well.

    • Nobamajon, in response to your ongoing claims above of WMDs, this is for you and any other republicans that keep trying to breath life into the WMD facade!

It is a commonly known fact that the Americans were duped into believing the existence of WMDs, thus the Iraq war. The attack on 911 in fact came from Afghanistan but as it has become apparent, the intent was for oil and the toppling of Saddam. The Saddam part was not a bad thing but he was not Bin Laden nor was he a WMD.

The Iraq war has been valiantly fought by our soldiers as their calling mandates. However, over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians have been killed in this war. Many of which have been women and children. This is an atrocity that will hang on the heads of any in the Bush Regime that knowingly started this war with knowledge that it was falsely based.

As an added point, the $10 billion that is currently being spent in Iraq every month would seriously buy one hell of a Homeland Security System among many other things this country needs. If it had been spent on that instead of the war we would actually be safer now instead of less and the economy would not be in the toilet.

The only reason we have not been attacked since 911 is because so many are now paying attention to the cause of security and protection. There were warning signs given prior to 911. During the 911 commission, Condoleezza Rice recanted the claim made in a memo she received indicating the threat received prior to 911.
      Two months prior:
      http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2006/09/30/AR2006093000282....

      http://www.cnn.com/2004/ALLPOLITICS/04/08/rice.transcript/

Contrary to many who would like to give Bush credit for our not being attacked since is ill founded. I don't think he could hit a bull in the ass with a handful of rice. Again the result of no attack has come from the awareness of those who care and watch over such things. That is not Bush! Sorry for all of you Bush lovers and any who try to use this sad story to promote John McCain.
P.S. Obama saw the Iraq war as a bait and switch from Afghanistan and McCain thinks we should continue this facade for maybe another 100 years. The Iraqi people disagree with McCain. They want us out!

I have quoted this several times before I am White and an Independent Party

if you really want to be more informed & intelligent try not watching Rove News...er, Fox News. But if you must have your fix of Fox, then try listening to Fox Business News. Then, after you have expanded your mind somewhat, try reading the financial pages of any newspaper...a whole new world for you!!!! Best of luck-k.

nobamajon.....you do realize that the dems now control all of congress and are about to take the white house and even more seats in congress right? Also, the dems convinced the American people for 8 prosperous years during the 90's. You are old enough to remember Bill Clinton right? Also, if you conservatives are so intelligent, why can't you come up with anything better then "NOBAMA"....huh, nobamajon?

    • if you are so worried about socialism, I'd be interested to hear your opinion on what has been happening on Wall Street this last couple of months....I'm pretty sure the Republicans in charge of all of this mess (Henry Paulsen)have just let the government Buy the Banks. What does that say about the past 8 years? They caused this financial crisis- just like the WMD scam-right at the end of Bush's term, so that they could bilk as much money as possible from us, AND wanted to give Paulsen unprecedented (and irrevocable) power. As if the power that controls the Bush regime hasn't done enough to ruin this country, they are (once again) scamming us scared & then ****ing us again. How about a response that is not just a repeat of whatever the rest of you read on the splinternet, but a well thought out answer?

    • Okay maybe I was wrong in calling Obama a socialist. He's actually more like a Marxist. What has he said to support this? Are you kidding? Well most recently how about the spread the wealth comment to Joe the Plumber? Or how about his interview in 2001 with Chicago's NPR where he said that our founding fathers had it wrong and that the constitution was flawed? Or when he said the courts need to bring about redistributive change, but he wasn't optimistic about it. Or just 2 days ago when he told his supporters that in 5 days (assuming he wins), they will FUNDAMENTALLY CHANGE America! Or his comments about starting a civilian army that is just as prepared and well funded as the military? Those are just a few examples. There are several others, especially if dig deep into his radical associates.

    • Nobamagirl and DS53, I wonder what you think the job of the federal government is? That is out of McCain/Palin speechs. Their campaign is built on lies and swiftboats. That tag came from what Obama said and was taken out of context, when he respectfully attempted to explain the Joe, The Plumber. We know Joe is not even a plumber. He is a scab. He also isn't looking at buying the business, and most plumbing business make no where near the amount Obama is saying his tax plan will effect. Bush and McCain are the socialist..they've been spreading the wealth around on the top five percent of the populace for 8 years. When did fairness and justice become socialism?

On nuclear power and environmental issues, McCain said, "blah, blah, blah.... and what is more telling was the slip, no one even mentioned much.. McCain addressed the crowd as, "My fellow prisoners." Some one should do a psychological profile on that "slip."

When did stupidity become more desirable than intelligence?

Nothing was out of context, there is a seven year old interview where he talks about changing the constitution radically, and about wealth redistribution. You should listen to it. Not that it will change your mind probably, you are probably a socialist also, I don't hold that against you. But it is my job to fight for my boys, so that they have the same shot that I had. Obama won't do away with injustice, war, hunger, or racism I hope he tries. But all that is above his pay grade.

Yes a registered Independent black man rapping about Obama is definitely racist. If I wanted economic devestation I'd vote for Obama. He's the one with the socialist plans that he calls change. Socialism has never worked and never will. It results in a poorer economy and misery for everyone involved. It kills the human spirit and lacks incentive. But go ahead, vote for Obama...you'll soon see what economic devastation is all about on a grand scale.

      @ jjsquared

Do you understand what socialism means? He has never once called for socialism. Socialism calls for government control of the production and distribution of goods and services. It makes just as much sense to call Obama a socialist as it does to call McCain a fascist dictator. Obama wants to set up a system that allows a hard working American the ability to earn a livable wage. For millions of Americans that is simply not the case right now.

All he can remember from those days is, whenever him and his roommate were out of rock to sell, they would pan handle until they had enough cash to score. Then high time and misdemeanors would ensue . NOBAMA08 or ever!!!! McCain /Palin for FREEDOM and beyond..........

Nobamagirl, you are a Fascist Bigot and should be deported to Darfur , right in the middle of a war zone. I've seen your stupid comments in many Obama supporting posts and they are never educated statements. You should shut the Fu** up on any Obama issue, and stick to supporting McCain in his few supportive posts. Don't bash, go support your Morons. And if you do indeed get what you want, you deserve to suffer any bad consequences that come from McCain being our leader.

    • love the fact that obama is gonna be on every major network for his closing speech.

he has had THE best run of any nominee in history.

he worked really hard these past 2 years and has shown that he has the know how to run a nation.

i believe his decision making skills are great and he can do what is necessary to completely change this nation for the better.

america has been an empire. we need to get that kind of mentality of people's mind internationally. they have to realize that we have to work hard and continue to work hard in order to maintain a better quality of life.

barack is the embodiment of that.
