Not to even get into the (Douglas) 'Wilder effect', 'Shy Tory Factor', and the 'Spiral of Silence'. Its just the MEDIA-HATE is overwelming. history shows that the presidency of John Quincy Adams was ruined same way 9/11 ruined W. Bush. the 'Corrupt Bargain' Quincys 9/11 symbols how Jeffersonian-Democrats organized 'obstructionalists' to deadlock Quincy from doing ANYthing those 4 years. I'm not worried about him owing them anything...what I'm worried about is what they saw in him. Why were they attracted to him? Did he support their cause? Why else would they garner a relationship?
