      A missed opportunity!

Just demonstrate to them that Santa isn't a talk-show radical and that Jesus isn't a threat to anybody else, including Muslims who regard The Christ as a precursor of the next Prophet to come.

So if Muslims don't have a problem with Jesus, or Santa, and Jews, Buddhists, Shintoists, Taoists and however many other religions there are could care less - then somebody has gone a tad power crazy over what is allowed during the December frosts.

Count on it, the pendulum cannot keep going in only one direction.

    • I've been having a lot of heated discussions with my RED friends here in Nebraska. I advocate at least temporary socialism while we get the last 8 years of our lives straightened out. As for banning Jesus, I'm in the process of putting up a "Holiday" display for the city I work for. I can't use angels, "christian" music or anything like that. I have to stick with trains, trees and candy canes. Next thing you know, we'll be either celebrating "Xmas" or nothing at all on the 25th of December. I just threw up in my mouth a little bit.

    • Patio_Patty,

The number of Americans who, since 2001, have dropped to below the poverty level = 5.7 million.

The number of Americans currently without Health Care coverage = 47 million.

The population of Canada = 33 million.

The number of Canadians without Health Care = 0.

While the raving continues about godless socialism, Europe and our neighbor to the north are happy to prevent their citizens from having to choose between bankruptcy to pay for operations or death to pay the mortgage and eat.

Thus far no one from the right has endeavored to explain why a system which puts at least 47 million people at severe risk is "better" than single-payer Health Care. At least not beyond the narcissistic argument that 'My money stays with me! That's the way God wants it!'

It's getting so crazy that soon we're going to have to ban Jesus and Santa Claus. Given his pacifist sermons about sharing plenty and actively being his brother's keeper - Jesus was just too much of a pinko.

Santa, in that sneaky suit, is another dangerous red.

Both these guys were no less than dangerous political agitators following a horrible America-hating ideology of redistributionist socialism called Christianity.

      And Santa was fat too!

    • In the unlikely event McPalin gets elected, I hope you're happy with the $5K they want to give the insurance companies for your health care. This year, I've spent nearly $10K just for my granddaughters medical treatment and that's just MY portion of the bill. I never saw the actual bill but they tell me their figures are correct. This does not include any treatment for ME...an aging, hard working grandmother trying to help out a struggling child that I didn't even give birth to. You should see "Sicko" by Michael Moore. Maybe THAT would wake you up to the problems we have with health care in this country. It sure was an eye opener for me.
Two more days of Bu$hit and we're DONE!
      Peace!

    • Where should I start. Not only were the souces coming from three people who drool at the word obama, but it is the most distorted clip I have seen in this election. Anytime you put together sound bites from your adversary you don't get the entire story. Typical of Obabamaniacs. Liked the music and background though!

What don't you get? JM said at the very start why you should vote for Barack. "the wall street financial crisis started in the culture of Washington lobbying" of which JM has proudly been a part of for 26yrs. Here is were Barack's freshness and uncontamination can save the country. Regarding sound bites out of context, I saw one. Palin said all she did,I saw it as I saw JM say what he did, every nauseating word.
May I ask you something? Are you and your conscience comfortable with the campaign tactics that JM-SP used? I mean really? Did you not wonder when they were gonna start talking about THEMSELVES???????? I am serious, please.

    • The AFL-CIO gives McCain a zero. Screw the unions. The unions ruined the United Kingdom and now they've dragged us down. I'm sure the makers of this video will get a government appointment to be instructors at government reeducation centers or supervisors at a USSA redistribution center.

It will be news to Britain that anyone ever "ruined" the UK.

As it was 90 years ago Pound Sterling is still worth more than the greenback. London is awash in wealth - and that with a Labor Government..

So what on earth are you reading?

It sure isn't The Times of London! Or the BBC! Or The Economist Magazine!

Where do you get this stuff?
