It will clear up much of the political mess inside Iraq, the "why" of it.
Why read this? So you will know why insurgents are trying to destroy democracy. So you will understand the reason for the war and that there is much at stake. And so that you can better communicate here as well as with your senators are representatives in the house.
Don't like to read, I have some videos for you, but finish this one post please.
If you want to post with authority about the situation in Iraq, against President Bush, etc. Theory for ending it, there are a few... Read these pages so you know what happened in their past, it's neutral.
There are many that say to understand the present, one must understand the past...
Here it is...The source also has video. I fear some people may be "numb" to seeing this on film, as violence on TV is more dramatic and include special effects. But real slayings have no special effects.
When you stop and realize the truth in this, it's heartbreaking, and the fact that no one resists, is even worse... lambs to the slaughter, every one..
I just watched someone's tongue being cut out and my own is in pain. When it took a few wackes with a machete to get all the fingers off a young man, my hand hurts after seeing that. And the beheading was sloppy. But they didn't seem to mind.

nd why would Saddam use the chemical WMD's when our Gi's were wearing protective gear against them? It would make it apparent to the world what he had been doing and his only move was to send the weapons to his closest Ally in the Jihad against America and hope for the best.
They saw Russia defeated after all when they were a super power. So why couldn't a terrorist collation wipe out ours? They thought they could do it with alot of deaths (and they don't care about civilian deaths) AND a campaign in the democratic party of the Untied States, and protests among liberals, would all do the bidding so that they would win.
And from here, if Obama does things wrong, they might.

So when Obama, the Arab-friendly president comes into power, and the congress shrinks our military as they have sworn to do. Obama has promised to take out our military from Iraq, not on a time table based on military progress, but on TIME. What does this mean?
THIS means that THOUSANDS OF OUR GI'S will die because troop strength is not strong enough for self defense. So as we are slaughtered, Obama will blame this on President Bush, when it is HE who will cause massive death. Intentionally. If I can clearly understand this, than surely Obama with his fancy education and his high IQ and his advisers know EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE CREATING.

If there was such strong evidence to support WMDs as some of the above comments indicate, Bush and his cronies would be waving it all over the place rather than denying it and taking a beating. Just basic left brain right brain making a connection. Too bad the right brains can't join with the left brains on the facts that are visually and audibly available. I am not sure whether or not this is possible as there has always been this kind of split through out most of time. The bitter and the sweet, the yin and the yang of it all!

Let’s first look at this from a logical stand point. If you were Saddam Hussein and was under attack, you would probably use what ever arsenal you had at your disposal. I know I would. The theory that is purported is Saddam quickly smuggled all of his defenses out of his country to Syria. Once this had been accomplished he quickly dug an under ground hole and hid in it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6aKNfFf4fAg . He was greatly relieved to have gotten rid of all of his defense mechanisms. Defeat would be so much better than being caught with WMDs or fighting his attackers. If I were to come under attack as Saddam did I would have used what ever means to resist or fight back that I could. WMDs would have been a tremendous asset in pummeling my enemy.
Your arguments lack insufficient evidence to convince me or the majority of the world that what you claim to be true. Bush admits there were no WMDs and goes onto other reasons as to why it was still okay to do what we did. He also admits that Iraq did not attack the United States on 911 but that we should imagine a world with Saddam where he could stir up a lot of trouble in a world where there was so much hatred and resentment for us. Ask any soldier Julius, esp the ones there in the beginning, they will also tell you theyve seen them. I know soldiers personally who have seen them, also, proof of Al Quaida and proof of underground smuggling to Syria .... Dont be so doubtful ... How can you not doubt Obama and his lies to the public that have no proof? Even the market doesnt believe in him... Why isnt it rising if people are so sure of him?

No, I've seen pictures... they were very lavish... even saw toilets that were made of gold!!! A clarification is perhaps needed here. Zcameramann my post is not aimed at you or your post. I apologize if you were led to believe that it was. Instead it was aimed at some of the others that are trying to keep the WMD facade alive.
It is a commonly known fact that the Americans were duped into believing the existence of WMDs, thus the Iraq war. The attack on 911 in fact came from Afghanistan but as you said the intent was for oil and the toppling of Saddam. The Saddam part was not a bad thing but he was not Bin Laden nor was he a WMD.
The Iraq war has been valiantly fought by our soldiers as their calling mandates. However, over 100,000 innocent Iraqi civilians have been killed in this war. Many of which have been women and children. This is an atrocity that will hang on the heads of any in the Bush Regime that knowingly started this war with knowledge that it was falsely based.
As an added point, the $10 billion that is currently being spent in Iraq every month would seriously buy one hell of a Homeland Security System among many other things this country needs. If it had been spent on that instead of the war we would actually be safer now instead of less and the economy would not be in the toilet.
The only reason we have not been attacked since 911 is because so many are now paying attention to the cause of security and protection. There were warning signs given prior to 911. During the 911 commission, Condoleezza Rice recanted the claim made in a memo she received indicating the threat received prior to 911.

Thank you. What really bothered me is that the people being killed didn't even protetst or try to fight.
When the guys were lead into the sand pit to be blown to bits, there was no pleading, no protesting. They were silent. You can hear the men making remarks and see them treating these others as if they weren't even human.
Every execuation was that way. No one protested, said anything, they were like lambs. I suppose death is sweeter than endless torture, or the possiblity of your entire family being killed if you talk.
Then they ask why?
And why for the lack of WMD's?
