First Family

In January, the Obama family will move into the White House, and there has been a tremendous amount of attention paid to the new First Family.

    • I caught your comment that the Obama family doesn't look anything like any other family we have seen in the White House, and it made me think of Obama's statement that he doesn't look like the other guys on the money. I think this is what I find most exciting about him and his family. He isn't like anyone we have had in the White House before, in my lifetime anyway. He strikes me as being very thoughtful in all things, very patient in letting the answers come to him, yet very deliberate in forming a plan and executing it. Michele seems to compliment him very well in that she seems very much his equal and one not likely to let him get away with something if she thinks he is wrong. I like that prospect; a microcosm of checks and balances in the master suite in the White House.
      I am excited to have this family in the White House. I think we got a good deal...two for one if you will.
