San Francisco Prop 8 Protest

Osain
On friday November 07 2008, thousands of people gathered in downtown San Francisco, during rush hour, in order to protest against the new Proposition 8, which strictly bans gay-marriage. We followed the crowd throughout the city asking the protesters about their opinions on the whole issue.

    • Very well done.
If possible, could you bring up some of the vocals over the background noises? Some of them get buried in the mix. Otherwise, it's an excellent record of the day.
      Smooth editing.

    • Great report, damn important issue.

Loss of gay rights is always a great precursor to other civil rights losses, and the US and UK have lost too many already in the last eight years.

      Keep up the great work.

JazzYParking -- Can you enumerate some? (Oops) Did you mean that rights have been lost in US & UK as a _result_ of gay rights being redacted?

This is one of the most demanding social issues, as so much angst has arisen over its formulation and legal merit. Jerry Brown is planning to undo 8 with the USSC team. Alas, I'm a pro guy.
