It's not just the Chicago way, it's the Illinois way. The politics here in Peoria are equally corrupt and rival any in Chicago. $$$talks and rules. HDTV subliminal messages, brainwashing, torture and a police state are how they control those who don't agree with them. If you haven't encountered this yet, you must not be outspoken, or just starting to rebel.

So, promotion of new nuclear power plants, coal, GMO's, business as usual and some. It's not just Chicago that is corrupt. You must remember it was a Republican governor that Blagoyovich replaced. The corrupt Republicans are alive and well and trying to take advantage of the corrupt Democratic moment. Right-wing talk radio is about if the Reps can replace the Dem senate seat with one of their own (i.e. if it went to a public election).
