Inside the rebellion in Greece: A popular uprising against the elite

uppityprogressive
Over and over throughout history, the oppressed peoples rise up and crush their oppressors. Greece is experiencing a popular uprising according to 60% of Greeks, not a small group causing trouble.

People the world over are really sick of being robbed by the rich.

    • It starts in your town, your village, your school. People have to do the work to organize their communities even though we are all over-worked already. Making sure the working class is over-worked is part of the strategy of the ruling class. This is a class war, only the ruling class is the only one that has been fighting it so far.

      Our turn.

    • We need to do this all around the world. All of the governments no longer serve the will of the people, and the people know this!

    • This is good on many levels. The situation in Greece in terms of their displeasure with both the government and financial institutions is very similar to us here and to many around the world; it illustrates how numerous we the people are and when a world of we the people stand up, there is little a government can do. Government has no money, they only have what we give them, which is yet another reason why the government saying there will bail out whomever they feel like is absurd, since it really isn't there money anyway. With that said, I agree, not paying taxes is a great first step towards shifting the power back into the hands of the people, however it is only effective if a majority agrees to do so and right now, there just aren't enough people who are informed, which is why we need to bring to light events like Greece to people so they can see that you can stand up against the government and that they are powerless when we unanimously choose to do so.

I also just want to say that the real news network, which is where this video was pulled from, is an incredibly valuable source for receiving news from around the world on events like this. I have plugged them in the past and continue to try and spread the word about them every chance I get, because it is a vital element needed in transforming the way people think and see the world. I think people first need to understand what and why before there can be a truly legitimate attempt in determining how to apply their understanding to action.

    • We need to start that in the US, we can start April 15, by not paying our taxes, they can't put the whole country in jail.

      Just a thought.
