Israel Launches fresh Strikes against Targets in Gaza

Jerusalem(CNN) Israel launches new strikes against Hamas for recent rocket attacks inside the Jewish State on Monday. IDF says militants have fired 35 rockets into Israel since Jan. 21 cease-fire. Targets include two Hamas outposts in southern, northern Gaza.

    • This is an excuse to go back to blowing buildings up in Palestine. This is just revenge, that because they tried to kill me, I have every right to kill them. Life isn't like that.

    • When Hamas returns from Egypt and they find suitcases full of cash at the Border, that tells me that the United Emirates are funding their ability to buy these weapons. Only a small percentage will ever see the general population. The Arms Merchants don't take credit cards.

    • Hamas is playing a cynical PR game with the lives of Palestinians. They provoke Israel into responding and then bring out the dead for the media to see. The media images than creates a backlash against Israel.

      Israel has been clumsy; Hamas is just evil. (Hamas is not the Palestinie people but an extremist party controlled by forces outside of Gaza or the West Bank.

    • The biggest problem is that many Hamas miltiamen launch rockets from near schools which makes the schools targets.

      Some people defend Hamas by saying that very few Israelis have actually died in the rocket attacks, which is true. But just because no one has died doesn't make it any less deserving of a military response.

      The biggest question is: What does Hamas ever hope to accomplish by launching these rockets?

      Hamas has been storing the Rockets under the Hospital. Israeli intelligence has known since the last conflict there. One could reason with a sick mind I imagine, that it's a good place to hide weapons. But it places all the Patients, Staff, Men, Women and Children in great peril just storing those weapons there. What if Your local Hospital had weapons stored there? Would that not alarm You? I mean it's hard for the average person to wrap their brains around this kind of thinking. It appears that Hamas has an understanding with the Palestinians that they will fight to destroy Israel until every last Palestinian is killed, no matter what the cost to the generations ahead that are also dying. The Kids. Hamas is dedicated to it and the Palestinians are obviously in step with this leadership telling them it's okay to die for Allah. So it is written.

      "They need to deal with those attacking them and not hundreds of women and children." At least, that's what I hope you meant.

      Of course, I doubt Israel is going to be any more "humane" than they were in early January.
